1.	When planning permission was granted for Units 1 to 7 a condition was imposed limiting the use to Class B1 and Class B8 of the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 to prevent disturbance from the units to the residents of nearby dwellings. The use of Unit 7 as a tyre and exhaust centre is likely to generate noise and disturbance that would significantly affect the living conditions of the occupiers of nearby dwellings. The proposal would therefore be contrary to Policy EMP1 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan which seeks to protect neighbouring premises from adverse effects of employment generating development.
