1.	The conversion of this hotel into a dwelling would lead to a loss of tourist accommodation which would be contrary to Criterion (A) of Policy TR12 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan in that, the cumulative effect of the change of use, would result in a significant adverse effect on the character of the holiday area. The loss of the hotel with its significant number of bedspaces, would be to the detriment of the resort which seeks to offer the widest range of available accommodation for the benefit of visitors.
