1.	The conversion of this hotel to four dwelling houses would lead to a loss of tourist accommodation which would be contrary to Criterion (A) of Policy TR12 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan in that, the cumulative effect of the change of use, would result in a significant adverse effect on the character of the holiday area. The loss of such a substantial hotel, with its large number of bedspaces, would be to the detriment of the resort which seeks to offer the widest range of available accommodation for the benefit of visitors.
