1. | The change of use of the premises as proposed to residential accomodation is considered by the Local Planning Authority to represent overdevelopment of the building which is likely to result in increased residential activity in and around the application site to the detriment of the residential amenities of the occupiers of the adjacent properties and is therefore contrary to Policy HOU7, Criteria E, of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan 2001. |
2. | The Local Planning Authority considers that the proposed conversion of this former community building to residential occupation is premature pending full exploration of alternative uses for the building particulary in the light of external funding initiatives currently available in the area and therefore the Local Planning Authority is unconvinced that its use for community purposes has been fully explored. |
