1.	The proposal is contrary to Policy HOU 18 criteria (i)and(ii) of the Borough Wide Local Plan 2001 in that the proposed design is considered by the Local Planning Authority to be out of keeping with the design of the existing dwelling and the character of the area and that the forward projection of the front extension will prohibit the standing of a vehicle on the hard standing in front of the garage without infringing upon the public foot path to the detriment and safety of users of the foot path.
