1.	Policy TR26 of the Borough-Wide Local Plan (adopted by the Borough Council on 23rd February 2001) states that "The Council will protect the Hemsby Marrams Management Area shown on the Proposals Map by not permitting replacement of, or extensions to, existing holiday bungalows, or other inappropriate development". The application site lies within the Management Area and the proposal is therefore contrary to the above policy, the objective of which is to secure landscape/visual improvements throughout this locality.
