1.	The proposal would be in conflict with criteria A and E of Policy HOU7 of the adopted version of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan in that it would be detrimental to the form, character and setting of the settlement due to the restricted depth of the site and the proximity of properties at the rear and would be detrimental to the amenties of the occupiers of nearby dwellings by reason of loss of off-street parking following the demolition of the exisiting lock up garages in an area where on-street parking is already a significant problem.
