1.	The Modified Deposit Version of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan, under Policy HOU16, seeks to resist the sub-division of plots where the development would be likely to be out of character and scale with the surroundings. The proposal is deemed to be contrary to this policy in that, if approved, the development would result in a cramped form of development which would be out of character with the locality and which would be detrimental to the amenities enjoyed by the occupiers of adjacent dwellings by reason of overlooking and loss of visual amenity.
