1.A minimum clearance of 600mm shall be maintained between the proposed bus shelter and the near edge of the adjacent highway carriageway. The reason for the condition is :- In the interests of highway safety.
2.The maximum luminance of each panel shall not exceed 600 cd/m2. The reason for the condition is :- To preserve amenity and prevent danger to road users.
3.No light source shall be directly visible to drivers of vehicles using the adjacent carriageway. The reason for the condition is :- To prevent glare or dazzle in the interests of highway safety.
4.NOTES - Please read the following notes carefully:-
5.1. The Director of Planning and Transportation (Norfolk County Council) has indicated that the applicant must liaise with the Area Engineer - Gas House Hill, Aylsham, to agree final positioning on site prior to the installation of the bus shelter.
6.2. The County Council reserves the right under Section 152 of the Highways Act 1980 and under the general provisions of Common Law to remove any sign causing dazzle, obstruction or nuisance.
7.3. The Borough Council's Access Officer has requested that adequate space for access past the proposed shelter be provided for wheelchair users.
